The Upper East Side goes to Target.

May 6, 2009

I just read something great on New York Magazine’s The Cut blog. And when I clicked on the WWD link to read the full story I was lead to a subscriber’s only page. Access denied. What a depressing start to by Wednesday.

Anyways, back to the something great. Anna Sui is in the works with Target to do a Designer Collaboration line. And that’s not even the best news. The line will be inspired by the four girls of the Upper East Side (well two Upper East Siders and two  really lower-east-siders and across the river-ers. The line will be insprired by Blair, Serena, Jenny and Vanessa. Woop Woop.

Although I think she should have stayed with just modeling the line after Blair’s choices in attire, because no one cares about what S, Little J or V wear. And one can only have so many Serena-esque dresses before people start calling them for the sluzberry pies they are.
